As control panel designers we can design a control panel to your requirements and write the specialist code for you. Our controller of choice is currently the Schneider M172 of which there are a few variants available so we can select the controller that will be best for your project.
Initially we used the TREND IQ controller range but now use the Modicon M171/M172 controllers from Schneider as they are more compact, cost effective and flexible. All controllers have Modbus capabilities as a minimum, most include BACnet as standard both over serial or Ethernet.
We are currently evaluating a small micro controller, the Arduino Nano. A small but powerful micro with small accessories to go with it. The prototype opposite is an automatic watering system controller which has been looking after our outdoor plants to ensure they don't dry out throughout the summer.
With wireless, WiFi, I2C and SPI interfaces it should be good to the IoT projects we are planning.
